This is exactly the second life thet Sebastiano, his wife Valeria and his brother Emanuele decided to start living. And it is precisely a choice of life that Sebastiano talks about when he tells us about his return to Puglia, his homeland.
A story made up of trips around the whole world, from Venice to Milan, from Indonesia to France and to Denmark. The path of their lives has (re)brought them to their hometown, to Andria, where they have stabilized and start dedicating themselves to the production of organic Oil, Almonds and Honey.
Three authentic products just like their land, Apulia. It is not a coincidence that when we ask Sebastiano to tell us about them, he says: I am sure that the taste and flavor of our Honey, our Almonds and our Oil will take you back in time, and will make you feel all the flavors of our land.
Our lands
The farm 'Le 4 Contrade' is located in Andria, in the southern italian region of Apulia. The farm has a long history and ancient tradition that dates back to the late 1800s, when the Spagnoletti Zeuli family started its agricultural activity in the countryside of the 'Contrade Torre di Bocca', in the village of Andria (Apulia). Emanuele's and Sebastiano's father is an agricultural geneticist and started his farming activity some years ago and between 2012 and 2015 the farm became organically certified. The organic almonds of the 'Genco' variety are harvested and traditionally sundried on large nets. The 'Millefiori Honey' is produced in an artisanal way, without adding any chemicals; it is neither heated nor pasteurized, it contains no added sugar but it only has its natural sweetness. Moreover, the olive oil entirely comes from the best 'Coratina' olives of the grooves, those that reflect the right degree of veraison.
