Federico and Daniele

Federico and Daniele

Sicilian Pomegranate Farm

Federico and Daniele are two brothers united by a special bond and a common passion: agriculture. They grew up in Sicily, the southern italian island where their maternal grandfather Giovanni had a beautiful olive grove. They have always lived in close contact with nature, savoring the scents and flavors of this magnificent territory.

In 2016, they began to dedicate themselves to be full-time farmers. They learned everything about this job and about agriculture, they treasured every valuable advice and improved their growing techniques day by day.

They chose a difficult fruit to grow, the pomegranate, which is not so well-known and produced in Sicily. A challenge that they still face with determination and commitment, by following the practices of organic farming that reward sustainability. They started the conversion to organic farming three years ago and soon, all of their fruits will be organically certified according to the European standards.
Today, the union between Federico and Daniele is unique, just like the love they have for their land which gives authentic fruits.

Our lands

The farm is located in Partinico, in the province of Palermo, Sicily. In this magnificent region, for years, Federico and Daniele's family has been cultivating the fruit that you can find on Orteat. They have always followed an agriculture that rewards nature, and over time the two brothers have improved and implemented new cultivation techniques suitable for the production of pomegranate. Nowadays, they are about to finish the three years necessary to obtain the Organic Certification.
